Devil May Cry

One of the best games that came out for playstation 2 in 2001 is so good the Devil May Cry. Capcom has made a great game with a freaky atmousphere and a bad-ass hero named Dante. Our story originally began 2000 years ago where a legendary dark knight, half-human, half-demon, named Sparda conquered the death loving demons. But now they rise up again. So, where does Dante fall into this plot? Well he is actually the son of Sparda and its up to him to rid the world of demons once again. This game is basically Diablo meets John Woo action movies with incredible moves to excecute incredibly easily. One of my favorite moments would have to be when I first slashed an enemie in the air and then juggled him with my twin pistols. There are cool weapons in the game to help you annihilate the many many different types of enemies in the game. Including flame gauntlets, a grenade gun, a cool lighting sword, and a very interesting shotgun. The monters are an entirely different story however. They are twisted and disfigured...something that rivals the characters from Twisted Metal Black. Enemies include demonic puppets (the weaker enemies), shadow cats (stronger than they look), death monsters (grim reaper types), and perhaps the strongst, Frost creatures, who get thier power from ice. The only problem is this game is a little too short in my opinion. With great action, great moves and great control, this is a title nobody should be without, Capcom did a great job! I can't wait for the sequal!
