Wow. This game is THE best action game out there. With amazing graphics, amazing storylines, amazing gameplay, and amazing characters. Taking place eight years after the original Jedi Knight, the game begins with our returning heros, Kyle Katarn and Jan Orrs, are investigating an Imperial holdout cell on the planet Kajim, and Kyle as become a mercenary and he turned in his lightsaber for his pistol. But a new Dark Jedi shows up and kills Jan, [Crap...she was hot!--Chester.] he decides to take up the saber once again. There are many cool weapons in the game including: a light repeating cannon, an EMP gun (great for taking out machines, but pu on humans), and a cool missile launcher. You can even use tradmark force powers like Force Push and Force Pull, and perhaps one of the coolest moves, Force Grab were you can pick up enemies, choke them in the air and throw 'em around like pin balls while standing a few feet away. You can also do The Emperor's powerful lighting move (wink, wink). Get this, you can actually throw your lightsaber at enemies...he..he..he! But with all these great things in this game, also comes the flaws. The enemie AI is PU. Sometimes they just stand still or run away or run towards you. Just no challenge (unless you play on the hardest difficulty witch is Jedi Master....that's a challenge). The levels often seem to just drag on. And really the game is not much fun untill you get the lightsaber about a third of the way through the game. Of course the real fun and challenge is when you fight the Dark Jedi. Thier AI is way better and its fun to fight them in cool places from the movie like the carbonite freesing chamber on Bespin (Cloud City). Whats really cool is at the end of the game, during the last boss fight, you get a friend to help. Guess who it is. One of the HUGE main character from the movie, and no it's not Yoda :-( for one thing he's dead. His initials are L.S. Take a guess. Anyway, Jedi Knight 2: Jedi Outcast is a game nobody should be without.
