MISSION 1: THE SCORPION HUNTERS:
This one's easy. Just pick up the Assault Rifle at the start of the mission and run right into the canyon. Health, Armor, and ammo will appear under a ledge, so dieing is nearly impossible :-) Nod soldiers will appear on the high ledges. After you've got all of them, you'll get a medium tank, so you're ok. Just plow right through you're enemies and when you get to the base, just blow up all the SAM sites from a distence. Enjoy the Ion Cannon pyrotechnics.
MISSION 2: RESCUE AND RETRIBUTION
After Rescuing the GDI commander, grab the data CD from the passageway full of tiberium to open up more details on the map. Quickly take out the turrets with C4, and then mop up the Nod resistance before freeing the civilians. Head to the beach, get the supplies, and jump in the big tank. In the tunnel just run over everybody because shooting is difficult in this tight space. Hit the three gun emplacements imediatley, then destroy the light tank. Head accross the bridge on foot (you cant go over it with the tank :-( ] and go under the waterfall. Destroy the fuel barrels to take out the Viseroids, then gat the Flamethrower and data CD. Head up to the right and get the security key from the guard in the tower. Now head into the base and use C4 on the Master Control Terminal (MCT). These first two missions teach you a lot about how to play the game.
MISSION 3: ARMORED ASSAULT:
This is a very long level. It has many primary and secondary objectives and enemies. Whenever you are in a tank [you will get a Mammoth eventually :-)], and when Rocket Soldiers attack you, jump out, snipe them, and then get back in the tank. Be sure to take out the gun emplacements, transport helicopters and other tanks, with your trusty tank. Also, never overlook Mr. Rocket Lancher for everything but infantry. When your finally at the Hand of Nod, go through the barracks and up the elevator. When you encounter Mendoza, you can shoot him if you want, but its just a waste of ammo because you cant kill him. Just head to the back of the plane and this mission is finally over.
MISSION 4: THE PLOT ERUPTS:
Watch for Nod officers in bunkers, and for reinforcements dropping in. Head to the Tiberium Refinery first, because you will eventually need a security card from an officer. Take out the Big Planetary gun for extra points when you reach it, and don't go into the Tiberium field unless you want to get a Chem Sprayer and fight a Viceroid. When you finally get to the Comm Center, and after passing the security door inside, watch out for ceiling guns. When you come back outside from the Comm Center you will face off with Sakura in a helicopter. Use your Minigun and rockets when she stops to attack. After beating her, rush out the gate and to the sub, unless you want to stay behind and watch the volcano erupt!
MISSION 5: STOWAWAY:
When you get through the door to your first major encounter on this level, and your on the catwalk, sneek up and launch a trusty rocket into the gas cans with Nod soldiers around them to send body parts flying. Basically, all you have to do to find the prisonners is go up the elevators. You will also need to get a security key. Fight the doctor and explore the top part of the ship. You need to use the elevator in the engine room to get to the top. Kill the captain and get the security key. Now go all the way back to the sub where you started and fight along side the prisonners. Gun down everything whereing red!. This map is kind of a maze and filled with enemies. Be careful!
MISSION 6: DEADLY REUNION:
Use F6 to save often as this is a tough mission. Throughout the level, watch the balconies where snipers and rocket soldiers hide. When you get close to her, use C4 to rescue Hotwire, and be sure to go in where she is and pick up some extra rockets. Head down an alley to your left and don't take on the big guns and tanks head on. Nod Officers come out of open windows high in the alley, so kill them before you use your trusty rocket launcher on the APC and Buggy. When you finally fight the Flame Tank, just back peddle and lob rockets at it. When you get to the square, your buddy Gunner is in the bunker and a lot of enemies are on balconies. When you enter the next square, annihilate the tank with rockets. On your way in, snipe the rocket soldier in front of you and the other your left in the balcony above. When you cross teh wooden bridge to Deadeye, you will fight a lot of snipers, rocket soldiers, and a light tank. ALWAYS look up at balconies and check for open windows. When you FINALLY reach the cathedral (Huff, puff, wheez), stay inside and let your buddies do the dirty work.
MISSION 7: THE GRIP OF THE BLACK HAND:
At the start, walk and don't run. Use the minigun to take out the paratroopers quickly. Enter the courtyard and snipe the rocket soldier in front of you. Take out the camera with a rocket. Stay close to the left wall a snipe the soldiers on the roof overlooking the courtyard. Use C4 on the light tank right around the corner and then with a little rocket. Go through the door ahead and go down to the right and rocket the gatling gun. Then just go back to the room with a lot of picnic tables and find the stairs that head up to the computer room and hack the terminal. Go back downstairs and watch for gatling guns! Rescue Sidney (follow the radar) and follow her up. Use your trusty minigun on Mendoza. It is easy to get lost in this level
MISSION 8: OBELISK OF OPPRESSION
Before leaving the cathedral, grab the Laser Rifle from upstairs (one of my favorite weapons). At the corner where the team has congregated, the rocket launcher is useful when you take out the gun emplacement and the turret to the left. Let your old buddies work- they have health-a-plenty. Keep Hotwire alive, and watch the burnt out vehicles because enemies are hiding behind them. At the bottom of the hill, take out the buggy with rockets. Turn right and kill the Black Hand immediatley. Now rocket the APC and buggy, and make sure to snipe the rocket soldier in the distance. Use the tank to blow up the other tanks and to enter the obelisk and complete the secondary objectives, or just blow up the SSM and move on to the next mission.
MISSION 9: EVOLUTION OF EVIL
Walk to creep up on the two gards and cap 'em in the back of the head with your pistol at close range. Release the prisonners at the console. Get the security key to get in the weapons room and your back in buissiness. Head left out of the prison and hop in the buggy, but get out a few times in order to snipe the soldiers on the roof before taking out the helipad. When you leave the compound, keep in mind that there is a hidden gun emplace to the right! Now it gets tough: use the tank to take out whatever vehicles you can. Enemy reinforments arrive often, so be careful! At the end, destroy the stealth tank below and head into the blue tunnel. Enter the main building and work your way down. When you fight the mother f***er at the end of the level, I suggest you use the personal ION cannon as it is very good for bringing his health down. This guy is very tough, don't let him grap you as he will throw you against the wall!
MISSION 10: ALL BRAINS NO BRAWN:
This level is annoying and tough. After getting the suit for Mobius (he will now be carrying my favorite weapon, the Laser Chain gun), grap the security keys, and watch for new gatling guns on the ceilings! There are a lot of these on this level. Always check the corners for guns and keep in front of Mobius as much as possible. He's armored and armed, but there is one major firefight to watch for....when he runs right in the middle of a s**t load of enemies with a bunch of gatling guns surrounding him. SAVE BEFORE THIS HAPPENS!!!
MISSION 11: TOMORROW'S TECHNOLOGY TODAY:
This long mission follows strategy game tactics as you knock out power, barracks and more. Watch for rocket soldiers high on the walls, especially around the downed UFO. Get to the Obelisk by skirting down the electrified fence (destroy the Stealth tank when you come to it), and rush to the door. Then take out the SAM site and enter the large area, hugging the wall to take out the Air Control tower, and watch for the Stealth tank coming up the runway! Take out the helipad with a rocket or two. Pick off enemies accross the runway with your friend, the sniper rifle, and be sure to take out the light tank with rockets. Now enter the Construction Yard from the right, and go down the ramp to take out the MCT. If you have the ammo, destroy the tiberium silos. Now when you get to the next set of buildings, take out your sniper rifle and kill all the rocket soldiers on the roof as you can. Now work your way down to the MCT's in the Power Plant and Comm Center and blow 'em up! Now go through the gate and to the temple and you're on the final mission (finally, phew!)
MISSION 12: STOMPING ON HOLY GROUND:
Here is your long, tough, final mission. Get down the levels fast, unless you want to be a soldier like me and kill everybody that pops up shooting at you. Collect every weapon you can and make sure you take out the four security guns on each wall! Powerful Black Hands will drop in so kill them before they can land on the ground and start unloading ammo on you. Get through a door and onto a ramp as fast as possible. Beware of the powerful Templars below you past the museum room: kill them before going down to snag the security key and Volt Rifle (in my opinion, the best gun in the game) from Kane's bedroom. In the room with all the doors, go to the left and get the security card from the room with the Viceroids. DON'T trust the technician! Prepare for a big battle on the other side of the yellow security door (a lot of Templars). Use the door as a shield. Pop out and laser the Templars, then pop back until everyone is dead. Now take the elevator down, and hug the wall to your left to find a skull-strewn passage that leads to the last main encounter. Be advised: the health and ammo at the bottom of this area regenerate! Look up and hit the guards with your new found friend, the Volt Rifle. When you meet Petrova, you'll be surrounded. Back up to the right to breath a bit, and then pick of the guards one by one. Petrova leaps accorss the ledges, so keep an eye on her. Once you blast her with the Volt Rifle, just keep on fireing (she'll be stunned) and you got her! After rescueing Sydney, follow her out, and as you take the elevator up, check left and right at every stop, makeing sure to fire at enemies as they pop up. Get the fu*k out of there and enjoy the fireworks! Congratulations, you've just beaten Command and Conquer: Renegade!!!
